Around the world, some 795 million people don’t have enough food to eat. Poor nutrition causes nearly half of deaths of children under five – that’s 3.1 million children each year (UN World Food Programme).
World Vision partners with the World Food Programme to deliver life-saving food aid to desperately hungry children and families around the world. Your donation will help us to transport, store and distribute food provided by the World Food Programme.
Through this partnership, the impact of each dollar you donate is multiplied up to 10 times to deliver life-saving food to children and families in need.
For example a donation of $50 enables us to provide life-saving food aid for 366 people for one month.
If your employer matches this donation, it enables us to provide life-saving food aid for 732 People for one month.
