Your gift supports an essential life activity.

Key Outcomes
  • Improves self-esteem and promotes health through cleanliness
  • One of the most effective ways to protect ourselves and others from illness is good personal hygiene. When young people are sleeping rough they do not have access to showers, laundry facilities or personal hygiene products.
  • Provide a listening ear and referral path for additional support
About WMQ is a leading provider of youth services in South East Queensland. In recent years it has merged with smaller youth services, including the well established Youth Health and Education Service (YHES) House on the Gold Coast, to provide them with a strong financial and management framework.

YHES House provides vital youth and young parenting support services on the Gold Coast for 12 to 25 year olds.

YHES House, based in Southport since 1994, supports ‘at risk’, homeless, disadvantaged and marginalised young people and young families to improve their health and wellbeing, and to transition successfully through critical and complex life events.

YHES House assists over 1,000 young people annually through individual support and educative groups.
