We need to employ more special education teachers and
specialist teaching assistants to train and rehabilitate children with congenital
impairments at our VACD centres so that important competencies given to these
children will enable them to integrate, be accepted within their local
communities and live independent and productive lives. By instilling
these skills, we seek to enrich the lives of these children and their families.
We would like to achieve recommended specialist teacher to child ratios of 1:6 and deeply appreciate your donations and support that will enable us recruit and pay monthly allowances to specialist teachers and specialist teacher assistants.
