You’d be surprised how quickly children recover – especially when their hot meal is followed by apple crumble and a serve of ice-cream!

Nutritionists help us to prepare a healthy, filling low-cost meal. Typically, it will start with a soup, followed by meat (often a roast), 3 veggies and potatoes, then a dessert (trifle, fruit crumble, plenty of ice-cream)

Each day, Salvos are called on to prepare meals for 25,000 people.
