Science is the solution for kids like Nicholas. His family's life changed for ever in May 2013 when he was just two and diagnosed with a cancer called neuroblastoma. He was given just a 50% chance of survival.
After exhausting all known treatments, Nicholas was accepted into a clinical trial to test something new - immunotherapy. It proved to have the most positive impact and today he leads a happy life.
However, his cancer hasn't gone.
Medical research, including clinical trials, funded by The Kids' Cancer Project will help to find the solution this little boy and his family need - 100% survival while eradicating the harmful impacts treatment can bring.
