The Big Issue is committed to responding to the needs of our community's most vulnerable during the growing COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic crisis. Now more than ever it is vital to support people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage, who are some of the worst affected by this crisis.
For the first time in 23 years, there are no Big Issue vendors selling on the streets. It’s no longer safe. We’ve had to pause face-to-face sales. It’s been more than tough – our vendors are missing their source of income, a source of purpose and pride, and a sense of community.
But, rest assured, we are creating new ways to provide financial and emotional support to our vendor group, as we transition our enterprises and programs to a digital model. Please help us continue to help people help themselves during this challenging and uncertain time by donating today.
