Help us to protect orphaned Chimpanzees
$ 25.00
Chimpanzees face an uncertain future in the wild as their forest homes are destroyed by logging, farming, and mining. They are also killed to be eaten in the horrific illegal bushmeat trade, which often leaves chimpanzee babies orphaned & traumatised, who are then sold on the black market as pets.

Taronga is a proud partner of the Jane Goodall Institute, which operates the Tchimpounga Chimpanzee Sanctuary in the Congo, helping to rehabilitate orphaned chimpanzees that have been rescued from poachers, and the illegal pet trade.

Your support will help fund necessary medical supplies, food, maintenance and expert staff to care for the more than 150 Chimpanzees that live there.
