Help fund emergency care for rescued koalas impacted by bushfires
$ 50.00
With bushfires threatening the Blue Mountains area and more predicted over the next week, Taronga has received 12 koalas who have been rescued by Science for Wildlife. These wild koalas are directly in the path of a bushfire that is currently burning out of control across more than 140,000ha in Kanangra-Boyd National park.  The rescued wild koalas are now in care at Taronga Wildlife Hospital, being monitored around the clock by vets and keepers until it is safe to release them back to the wild.

 The urgent funds you give today will help Taronga address the emerging crisis, care for the rescued koalas in the Taronga Wildlife Hospitals as well as Taronga’s long-term work as we strive to turn around the trajectory of koala populations.
