Help care for an orphaned Chimpanzee
$ 20.00
Chimpanzees face an uncertain future in the wild, as a result of their forest homes being destroyed by logging, mining, and farming. They are also killed to be eaten in the horrific illegal bushmeat trade, which often leaves chimpanzee babies orphaned, traumatised and destined to be sold on the black market as pets.

Taronga is a proud partner of the Jane Goodall Institute, which operates the Tchimpounga Chimpanzee Sanctuary in the Congo. We are helping to rehabilitate orphaned chimpanzees that have been rescued from poachers, and the illegal pet trade.

Your support will help fund necessary medical supplies, food, maintenance and even expert staff to care for the more than 150 Chimpanzees that live there and their environment.
