Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia
The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) is the largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisation in the world.

Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive primary health care and 24-hour emergency services to those who live, work and travel throughout rural and remote Australia.

We rely on donations to purchase and medically-equip aircraft, to finance clinics and provide high quality health services which improve the health and wellbeing of those in the outback.

Today, the RFDS has a fleet of 68 aircraft operating from 24 aero-bases located across the nation, a fleet of 87 road transport vehicles and provides emergency care as well as primary health services to almost 300,000 people every year – that’s one person every two minutes!

You can support the Flying Doctor and help save lives through our Going The Extra Mile workplace giving program with once off, or regular donations.
