The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of New South Wales (RSPCA NSW) is the largest animal welfare organisation in NSW.

Our mission statement is simple:

“To prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection.”

We are committed to the care and welfare of animals providing extensive professional facilities including fully equipped veterinary hospitals and a state-wide shelter network.

In addition to accommodating and treating animals, the RSPCA NSW operates an Inspectors Department that investigates and prosecutes acts of animal cruelty under the authority of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act (NSW).

“RSPCA believes that animals must be treated humanely.”
