Nine out of 10 Australians say that sight is their most valued sense. Yet, 62% of Australians are still putting their sight at risk* and fail to get eye checks because they don’t see it as a health priority.
Regardless of age, eye health should be a priority because 90% of blindness and vision impairment is preventable*.
Join our crusade to educate Australians to protect their eyes and get regular eye checks, but also to raise funds for research projects conducted by the Queensland Eye Institute (QEI) Foundation.
$10 per week ($520 p.a.) could enable our scientists to take a pinprick of a patient’s own eye cells and grow 10 million cells within one month. This could provide better treatment outcomes for up to 10 patients.
You may even be able to DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT by asking your employer to match your donation!
With your support, QEI Foundation can achieve so much more when it comes to reducing eye disease and improving eye health, than if we were to do it alone.
With no government funding QEI Foundation relies solely on the generosity of donors, businesses and the community.
Thank you for your support.
