Provide Training for a Lifeline Crisis Supporter
$ 3500.00

Lifeline's 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services are made possible due to the work of more than 4,000 Telephone Crisis Supporters, the vast majority of whom are volunteers committing and giving their time.

With more than 1 million calls expected to the 13 11 14 crisis line this year, a call every 30-seconds, the contributions of Australians and supporters like yourself are vital for ensuring Lifeline has the capacity to train more volunteers and, in turn, answer more calls from Australians in crisis.

A call for help can be from someone in crisis who is hurting or grieving over losing a loved one, someone who's lost their job, someone who is feeling alone, lost, and depressed. It could be a child, a father, a mother, a daughter, or your neighbour.

Lifeline Trained Lifeline Crisis Supporters can help someone in crisis reconnect with hope, seek further support and listen to them when they have no one to turn to in their darkest moment.

Lifeline Australia is here to connect with Australians in need, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week via phone, text and webchat.
