Every rescued lamb is fed a lamb specific milk replacer. At first lambs are fed small quantities every 2 - 3 hours. The feed quantities gradually increase and become less regular until by week 3 they are being fed every 6 hours. This continues until they reach the weaning age of approximately 10 weeks. By donating to this cause you will be directly helping the survival and healthy growth of a lamb in care. What better way to spend your money than by helping to feed the hungry mouth of a baby in need.
Approximately 15 million lambs die on Australian farms every year during their first 48 hours of life. Lamb Care Australia is a not for profit organisation that fosters and rehomes some of these lambs who are born during the lambing season across Victoria.
