The majority of lambs are rescued during the cold winter months. Most are only a day or two old and are unable to fully regulate their body temperature. To help warm their tiny bodies, which often weigh only 3 or 4 kgs, every lamb is allocated with a jumper. By donating to this cause you will help to keep these little babies warm and healthy.
Approximately 15 million lambs die on Australian farms every year during their first 48 hours of life. Lamb Care Australia is a not for profit organisation that fosters and rehomes some of these lambs who are born during the lambing season across Victoria.
