Protect the Leopards
$ 100.00
Leopards are increasing suffering from their interactions with humans in the Maharashtra region of India.

HSI is working with Wildlife SOS to ensure that the Forest Department personal are trained in tranquilising and translocating problems leopards, however the 22 handicapped, injured and orphaned leopards, including two recently orphaned cubs require feeding and caring for.

A vet, Dr. Karobi, pictured with the lion cubs, has been employed but the costs of training keepers and running the leopard centre and the human-leopard conflict workshops are growing. More funding is needed to continue this important work and help leopards and their cubs survive.
