Household Relief Fund

The Household Relief Fund was incorporated in April 2010 at the first Board Meeting held at the Williamstown RSL. The Household Relief Fund provides support to those in necessitous circumstances to regain control over their lives and environments. Our clients, who include women and children escaping family violence, the chronically homeless and marginalised migrants, are provided with household goods or support to empower them to live a dignified and independent life.

Each year Houshold Relief Fund holds exciting fun fundraising activities and raises valuable funds to support their philanthropic work. In addition, HRF receives funds from philanthropic organisations such as Mary MacKillop Foundation, Sisters of Charity Foundation, RM Ansett, Lord Mayor’s Charitable Fund, Jack Brockhoff Foundation, Sidney Myer Fund and many more.

We are operated by a board of eight volunteers
