Treadle Pump for poor African farmers

A treadle pump works by children or their parents wallking on the treadle to pump water into a hose so that poor farmers can irrigate their fields. Currently EHC has farming programs in Malawi and Zambia and, as a result, good crops are being produced and families can now eat 3 meals a day instead of one a day. A treadle pump is a fantastic gift if you really want to help a family.
