Helping species and places in special need.Sadly, Australia holds the unenviable record for the largest number of mammal and bird extinctions in the world, with other wildlife and many native plants still facing significant pressures from a range of threats. We work with Recovery Teams to provide community-based solutions to the challenges faced by native plants and animals across Australia. Some of our Wild Futures projects include:
  • Habitat protection for the critically endangered Eastern Barred Bandicoot
  • Predator reduction for the endangered Spotted Tree Frog
  • Food and shelter tree re-establishment for NSW and Queensland Koalas.
  • Removal and replacement of toxic climbing vines to protect the Richmond Birdwing butterfly.
