Conservation Volunteers is working with communities and organisations to clean up marine debris on beaches, in coastal wetlands and estuaries to improve habitat and reduce threats to species like seabirds, who can get tangled in debris and die.
And it’s not just collecting rubbish - our volunteers record information on all debris collected, contributing to national and international efforts to stop the flow of rubbish and pollutants at the source.
