Challenge - supporting kids with cancer
Challenge is a not-for-profit organisation that provides daily support for children and families living with cancer from the time of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.

Once the medical needs have been addressed, the wellbeing of the entire family, including siblings, is our fundamental concern. Through our programs and services, we aim to make life easier as they deal with fighting their illness.

The Challenge Family Centre offers an extensive range of support such as playgroup, music therapy, massage therapy, information seminars and a resource library. The Centre is the first of its kind in Australia providing these services in a single location and offers unparalleled and high quality commitment to returning a degree of normality to the lives of those living with cancer and other life-threatening blood diseases.

Within the community Challenge provides various camps, activity days for the family, specific programs for mums and dads, ticketing to concerts and events, holiday accommodation, home help and scholarship opportunities.

On a daily basis, Challenge provides support to kids undergoing treatment in hospital with iPads, gaming consoles, internet access, a reading program, celebrity visits and family activities - which include parent dinners, morning tea and walking groups.

All our programs and services are provided to Challenge families free of charge.
