Support BYS to engage vulnerable or homeless young people in education and employment training.
In 2017/18, 37% of the young people we saw said that they were unemployed and want to work, while 14% had barriers preventing their regular attendance at school or training.
Of those who engaged with with BYS during 2017/18 employment rates increased from 1 in 25 to 1 in 5. There was also a 30% increase in young people participating in school and training.
