The power of you- $80 can provide a phone cal each day for a month to someone living alone provide

When disaster strikes, Red Cross relies on the generosity of the Australian public and businesses like yours to meet the urgent increase in demand on our services.

Right now, we’re supporting thousands of people across the country with basic needs so they can get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your support has meant we’ve been able to ramp up our existing programs to meet the demand, including:
  • Emergency meals for people with no other support
  • Daily phone calls to check in on isolated and elderly Australians
  • Emergency money for migrants and asylum seekers facing destitution
  • Funding for disaster response teams in our region.

The power of today.
Today, we continue to deliver on our promise: to be there for the long-haul. It’s a promise we make in every disaster, whether it’s war, flood or fire, or a global pandemic.
We know that the impacts on people’s health and wellbeing endure long after the disaster has passed. That’s why we need to ask for your help today.
You can help us reach more people with basic essentials and ongoing support, so they can stay safe over the months and years to come.
  • $25 can help train a new Red Cross volunteer in psychological first aid so they can support people who’ve experienced a disaster or traumatic event.
  • $50 can help us relocate missing loved ones, separated from their family by war, disaster or migration.
  • $80 can provide a phone call each day for a month to someone who’s living alone or isolated
  • $100 could put food on the table for a newly arrived family who can’t access work or an income right now.
Please donate today, or increase your existing workplace giving contribution by as little as the cost of a coffee (an extra $4/pay can make a world of difference to the lives of people overcoming crisis).
