During the COVID-19 crisis, Red Cross continues its daily work
$ 20.00
Right now, Red Cross is expanding and adapting its programs to meet the unique demands of a world responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19)

-We are scaling up welfare calls to thousands of people in isolation. A phone call with a Red Cross volunteer trained in Psychological First Aid can turn someone’s day around – helping them cope, stay calm, and endure this difficult time. We have already made over 17,000 phone calls to those in isolation

- We are providing emergency relief hampers to people in isolation to people in Victoria in partnership with Foodbank
- We are seeing increased demand for support from refugees and people seeking asylum who are newly out of work and have no access to basic services
- We continue to provide Meals on Wheels and provide our support services to our elderly clients

Importantly, we’re doing everything we can to ensure the humanitarian needs of Australia’s most vulnerable people are met – from migrants and refugees starting a new life in Australia, to teenagers facing homelessness, to communities recovering from disaster.
You can help Red Cross be there, no matter what.
