The Foundation receives may calls from patients and families alike and would like to employ a Health Professional such as an Endocrine Nurse to work with the Foundation to help alleviate the anxiety some people experience and also to give reassurance.
Being diagnosed is a shock, having the treatment is not a walk in the park, and the subsequent management of hormones to the adrenals, thyroid and other endocrine glands can be overwhelming.
