AED Legal Centre
AED Legal Centre is a community legal centre established by the Association of Employees with Disability Inc (AED) to defend and protect the rights of people with a disability in the areas of education and employment.

The AED office is located in the Melbourne CBD but we provide state-wide coverage across Victoria.

Every year AED assists over 300 people with disability by providing information, education, advice, support and legal representation to people with disability who experience difficulties in education or employment.

Every time we win a case or get a person with a disability the help they need we celebrate a little victory. Each victory takes us to a better society where we all live as equals.

AED Legal Centre gives priority to: unlawful termination of employment, jobs in jeopardy, special modifications in the workplace or at school, wages and working conditions, disclosure of disability, bullying or harassment and cases that are in the public interest.

AED believes in the equal right to a quality education by students with a disability in primary, secondary and tertiary settings and we give priority to cases involving students who experience exclusion from education.

AED services lead to empowerment with an improvement in mental well-being, self-esteem and confidence by people with disability.
