A Perfect Foundation Charity Ltd
A Perfect Foundation is a For-Social Change Organization created to educate and empower local communities in remote global regions to make a sustainable difference. Founded by a group of surfers who wanted to give back to the island communities that have allowed others to enjoy their natural resources for many years before them.
We established the first Education and Conservation Center in the Mentawai Islands of Indonesia in 2015. Located in the small coastal village of Mapadeget in North Sipora, we have been working together with local communities and its members to help reduce plastic waste ever since.
We work within the community building trust and respect with community members, businesses, government officials and children educating them on the importance of reduce, reuse and recycle. We are now sending plastic waste back to the mainland to the recycling center as well as collaborating with other NGO's distributing life-saving water filters to remote communities.
