Disaster recovery for a baby & their family - $50

So many people are surprised to discover that babies (just like children and adults) can experience horrendous emotional trauma following a natural disaster. The consequences of this sort of trauma for a baby can last well into childhood - and even adulthood. However, IAIM has specially trained educators in every part of Australia, who support parents to begin to re-establish their baby's sense of security and safety, and to reverse the fear and isolation that the whole family can experience following a fire, flood or other natural disaster. This very special gift will help us raise enough funds to develop our disaster recovery kit, enabling Australian babies and their famillies to heal the wounds that would otherwise last long-after the crisis has passed.
