Zoos Victoria is committed to Fighting Extinction. Our goal is to be the world’s leading zoo-based conservation organisation, the Australian authority on captive holding and management of native threatened species and a major facilitator of wildlife knowledge for conservation action.
As habitats and wildlife continue to decline, Zoos Victoria is working to incorporate conservation and research in all that we do. Together we can improve animal care, save endangered species, reduce threatening processes, and empower and inspire communities to address these threats.
Zoos Victoria works locally and globally on Wildlife and Community Conservation campaigns, including inspiring and empowering people to act on behalf of wildlife, and providing support for in situ conservation action both in Australia and Overseas.
