Vision Australia
In Australia, almost every hour someone is diagnosed with an eye condition that cannot be corrected by glasses. Every year that’s 8,000 more people who can no longer make full use of their sight.
Vision Australia is a living partnership between people who are blind, sighted or have low vision. We are united by our passion that in the future people who are blind or have low vision will have access to and fully participate in every part of life they choose.
Whether it’s helping to tell the time, pour a cup of tea, use a computer or read a talking book, Vision Australia ensures that people who are blind or have low vision can live their lives to the full. We do this by developing practical solutions to everyday challenges, providing comprehensive training and enabling easy access to information.
