Asian elephants are currently endangered in the wild. Taronga's conservation programme has already had some great success with two confirmed elephant pregnancies. To continue this fantastic work Gung our male elephant needs to be transported to the females during the limited time while they are in oestrous. Transporting a bull elephant through a busy zoo well is near on impossible - which is why we need specialised transportation. So you don't need to carry an elephant - just help us to!
