Chemotherapy commonly lowers a patient’s white blood cell count, creating a high risk of infection. So women need to closely monitor their temperature. This is why our Chemo Pack includes a thermometer. We also include a Chemo Diary for the patient to keep a record of her treatments and temperature in close consultation with our two specialist breast care nurses.
For only $19 you can provide a Chemo Pack to a breast cancer patient. That’s a very small amount of money to pay for something so important, arriving at a time when a woman is at her lowest ebb.
