Provide Home Tutor Resources - $15.00
Just $15 will provide a Home Tutor of primary school children or stay at home mothers of refugee families with a Literacy or Numeracy CD to enhance the learning programs provided by the tutor. Many refugee mothers arrive as single parents, and often have had their own schooling interrupted by war or conflict in their own country. They are so happy to have the chance for their own children to have the support of a tutor who will come to their home. By reinforcing teaching received at school or TAFE, we are really making a difference in the lives of refugee families in the most important area of all ... the education of both children and adults.
