SANE Australia, the national mental health charity, works for a better life for people affected by mental illness - regardless of diagnosis - through education, research and campaigning. Our national 1800 Helpline, websites, and other services provide information, advice and referral to thousands of Australians concerned about mental illness every year.
SANE’s independence and effectiveness has been recognised with the Australian Best Practice Charity Award. Every dollar donated is put hard to work to help those affected and their families – through the Helpline, education, research, and campaigning for improved services and attitudes.
