Parkinson's Victoria

A person is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease every hour of every day. It is a most common chronic neurological condition impacting on all aspects of a person's life, and can affect adults of any age. 1 in 5 people diagnosed are of working age. The economic cost of Parkinson's in Australia is $6.8 billion. Numbers will double in thirty years.

We need your support to provide services, education and support to reduce the impact of Parkinson's, raise awareness, to fund research and to advocate for improved government funding.

While Parkinson's has a higher impact on Australia's health than many national health priorities, govermment funding for health professional staff to provide much needed services remains low. Your tax deductible donation will make a difference.
