People struggling with a mental illness are very prone to isolation and are in great need of social support. By providing resources, guidance and training to those volunteers committed to coordinating a support group, we create opportunities for people in their local community. They get somewhere to go for that social connection. This is vital to nurture hope and support for recovery.
