Jewish Aid Australia

Jewish Aid Australia aims to mobilise the Australian Jewish community to become active in local and international development projects. JAA fosters civil society, sustainable development and human rights for all people, while promoting the values and responsibilities of global citizenship within the Jewish community.

Some of their current projects include assisting newly arrived refugees from Dafur integrate into their new homes in Melbourne; engaging with a remote Aboriginal community in New South Wales; and implementing capacity building projects in some of South East Asia's most disadvantaged countries.

JAA actualises the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) and Tzedakkah (pursuing justice).
