Heart Support Australia
Heart Support Australia is the only national heart support organisation of its kind in Australia. With over 2500 members in over 43 Branches across Australia, the organisation provides services in rural and remote areas as well as city and metropolitan areas. The branches operate cardiac walking programs, assist in cardiac rehabilitation, visit heart patients in hospital and the home, develop healthy lifestyle programs and support the hospitals and health centres in their communities with equipment and volunteers. The branches are all self funded and all donations assist in ensuring existing programs and new programs are successful.
