Epilepsy Action Australia
Epilepsy Action provides education and support services across Australia to help children and adults with epilepsy or other seizure disorders live more confidently.
When a person is diagnosed with epilepsy or other seizure disorders the impact can be profound. While they experience fear and uncertainty, their families, friends and employers may face unexpected challenges as they try to assist someone with a condition they don’t fully understand.
Our team of highly qualified psychologists, registered nurses and educators will first assess a person and identify their particular needs. Then an individual service plan is developed that takes into account the impact of seizures in every area, from education and employment to daily living, and recommends strategies to help.
Services also include education programs about seizures and first aid for groups like schools, nurses, police and employers.
