From Uluru to the tropical rainforests of north Queensland and the world heritage areas in Tasmania, Conservation Volunteers undertakes vital practical conservation projects. Recruiting and managing teams of volunteers from Australia, New Zealand and around the world Conservation Volunteers engages over 12,000 volunteers annually.
In the 2009/2010 financial year, Conservation Volunteers planted close to 577,000 trees, maintained just over 295,000 metres of walking track and collected over 100,000 kgs of rubbish. Support like yours will mean that more vital work like this is carried out and ultimately, more practical steps are taken to conserve the environment we live in.
