Clean Up Australia's flagship event - Clean Up Australia Day has, over the last 20 years, grown to be Australia's largest community-based environment campaign, with nearly 1 million people annually taking to their streets, parks, waterways and beaches to remove tonnes of accumulated rubbish.
Just over 17 years ago, Clean Up went global - Clean Up the World - a partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme. Today an estimated 35 million people undertake activities that clean up, fix up or conserve in over 120 countries - uniting to combat climate change.
Closer to home, Clean Up actively works with business to find and develop technology that replaces yesterday's high emissions/high energy and low efficiency products with innovative solutions that mimic natural process. Clean Up Our Climate presents practical solutions that are easy and fun - helping everyone make simple changes at home, at work and while we are out and about.
