Clean Up Australia
Clean Up works with the community to provide practical solutions that help us live more sustainably. Its flagship event, Clean Up Australia Day, attracts hundreds of thousands of volunteers each year and has led to the removal of an estimated 237,000 tonnes of waste from the Australian environment. In 1993, Clean Up went global with Clean Up the World, through which 35 million people from more than 120 countries take part in activities to clean up, fix up and conserve their environment each year.
