Australian Cancer Research Foundation
The Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) is a private, not-profit organisation dedicated to helping find a cure for cancer through the continued support of world-class research in Australia.
ACRF takes pride in it’s commitment that every dollar of every donation received by the Foundation goes to funding invaluable cancer research. We fill a critical need in the community by providing grants exceeding $1.5 million to funding breakthrough cancer research and financing infrastructure and technology not provided for by state or federal medical grants bodies. We receive no government assistance and are completely reliant on generous public and corporate donations.
The ACRF have awarded over $55 million in research grants to Australian cancer institutes, including awarding a $1 million grant to the 2006 Australian of the Year, Professor Ian Frazer who discovered the vaccine to treat and prevent cervical cancer. Join and help us to invest in innovations that really matter!
