Help the Australian Koala Foundation (AKF) save our wild koalas by joining our Foster Koala Programme for a year.
This programme helps to fund The Koala Habitat Atlas, our award winning mapping programme that tracks habitat loss and rapidly dwindling wild koala populations. It enables the AKF to constantly remind Government that our national icon urgently needs to be listed as vulnerable and "in need of protection". The maps indicate the wild koala is approaching extinction in many parts of Australia as numbers drop to between 80,000 to 43,000 in the wild.
